Summer Essentials for Kids
I like to celebrate transitions, so as we head into summer I am excited to put together a little gift full of summer essentials for kids for my kids.
Like I said, most of the items I am putting in this little summer gift basket are seasonal items that I would have needed to buy my kids anyway. Those darn kids just keep growing and last year’s swimsuit doesn’t fit any more.
I love gift giving it is definitely my love language so anytime I can slap a bow on a necessary purchase and call it gift I take advantage of it.
When putting together a summer gift for your kids, start by looking at what your kids need. We definitely needed new sand toys and swimwear so that is where we started.

My goal here isn’t to to be extra or buy my kids things they don’t really need. The items in these summer baskets are things that my kids need, I am just finding a creative way to give them while making it seem more special. AKA I get brownie points for being the cool mom who gives gifts when really I bought summer essentials for my kids.
