V is for Volcano Template

*Construction Paper

*Markers

*Glue

*White Paper

*Scissors

Step #1
Print and cut out your V is for Volcano template. We printed the V on red construction paper and the triangle on brown construction paper.
Step #2
Glue the triangle to the bottom of a piece of white paper. This is the base of the volcano.
Step #3
Glue the V upside down so that it overlaps the edges of the triangle. This is the lava.
Step #4
Glue the spray of lava above the volcano.
Step #5

Label your paper V is for Volcano.

Teacher Tip

Even though you are creating a volcano out of paper, this is one of those vocabulary words that your Lil’ may not be familiar with yet. Go ahead and watch a few videos online of volcanoes erupting before you do the letter activity. This will get them really excited about the letter V!
