The concept of time is very abstract and not the most age appropriate skill for our Lil’s. In other words, they likely don’t understand what it really means when you say, “We are going out on Friday.” Now that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t expose them to calendar skills since the more we include it in our everyday conversation, the more familiar they will be with the “material” when they are developmentally ready to fully understand it.
