Grab your old pool noodle from the summer and get ready engage in some sled races.

This activity will engage your Lil’ in engineering skills, problem solving skills, and work on terms like 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and last.

#### *Scissors

##### Step #1
Cut a pool noodle in half horizontally so that it opens like a sub sandwich.
##### Step #2
You now have 2 pool noodle pieces. Cut each of them into two pieces.

*You want the pieces to be varying lengths.

##### Step #3
Prop the pool noodles up against a wall at a diagonal.

The steeper the slope, the faster your toy will go.

##### Step #4

Place a small ball on each pool noodle and watch them sled down the hill.

Talk about which one landed first, second, third, and last.
