Print and cut out the Shooting Star Sight Words Template.
Lay out all of the rainbow strips so you can see the letters.
Grab a star, read the word and trace over it.
Find the corresponding letters from the rainbow strips and spell the sight word.
Glue the strips, in order, to the star.
Trace over the letters on the rainbow stripes.
If tracing the sight words becomes overwhelming for your Lil’, just skip that step. It is already amazing that they are learning to identify and read the sitght words, so it’s OK if they aren’t ready for writing them.
