One final fall themed activity before we move on to My Community for the month of November.
These adorable pinecone owls are a fabulous way to use up some of your scavenger hunt materials and engage your creative skills.
These little owls are so cute, you may even keep them up as part of your fall decor!

Required Materials

Pinecone

Acorns

Leaves

*Hot Glue Gun

*Hot Glue

Step #1
Use a hot glue gun to glue two acorn tops towards the top of the pinecone. These will be the eyes of the owl.
Step #2
Glue a leaf to both sides of the pinecone as wings.
Step #3

Glue a small piece of bark, a small leaf, or a piece of a pinecone below the eyes to serve as the beak.

Teacher Tip

The hot glue gun should be use by adults ONLY, but your Lil’ can place the items on the pinecone after you have applied the hot glue.
