Painting is by far my two-year-old’s favorite activity;
however, I am always looking for ways to mix it up a little bit.
This time, we’re mixing things up by getting rid of the paint brushes and instead looking to the kitchen for our painting utensils.

Kitchen Utensils

*White Paper

Step #1
Pour paint on the paper plates.
We did one color per plate.
Step #2
Dip your kitchen utensils in the paint.
Step #3
Paint your paper using kitchen utensils.

Teacher Tip

I chose to only use red, yellow, and blue paint because I knew they would combine and allow me to talk about how colors mix to create new colors.
