If you have been following along with us for the last few months, your Lil’ Creator is ready to learn about the numbers 17 -20. If not, no need to worry; I have also included numbers 0-16 in our template so that your Lil’ Creator can work on his numbers at his own pace.
I encourage you to only work on one number a week for two reasons. First, I recognize that this is somewhat of a worksheet and worksheets can be less than exciting for our Lil’s. Since we are all about keeping learning fresh and fun here at the Sandbox I discourage bombarding Lil’s with worksheets.
Second, only focusing on one number allows your Lil’ to concentrate on that number’s value. Especially after the number 10, the teens seem to be tricky for most Lil’s.

Teacher Tip

If you are just starting with us, your Lil’ may be able to do 2 numbers a day for numbers 0-9 without being overwhelmed. However, it is not required as we will go continuously teach numbers 0-20 throughout the year to ensure that your Lil’ has a deep understanding of the numbers and their values, and I will always provide numbers 0-20 in all our number resources so that your Lil’ can work at their pace.
