I think this might be one of my favorite name activities. It is a name puzzle with your sweet kiddo’s face on it. This name puzzle is super simple to create and will hold so much value and meaning to your little one, which will result in them in doing this activity over and over because it is all about them.

This preschool activity will teach your Lil’ to identify and spell their name.

Picture of your Lil'

Step #1

Print a picture of your child. We used a 5 x 7 photo.

Step #2

Tape popsicle sticks together. If you used a 5 x 7 photo like we did, it fits perfectly on 10 popsicle sticks.

Step #3

Flip popsicle sticks over so that you are working on the side without tape.

Step #4

Glue your child’s picture to the popsicle sticks. Be sure to get glue all over the picture so that it attaches to every single popsicle stick.

Step #5

Write your Little’s name, with one or two letters per popsicle stick, below the photo.

Step #6

After the glue has dried use an X-Acto knife or scissors to cut between each popsicle stick.

Step #7

Hand your little one the sticks and invite them to put the puzzle together.
