According to the National Childcare Accreditation Council, the “development of children’s fine motor skills is an important foundation for the attainment of other important skills in the future such as writing, drawing and self-help.”

We focus on fine motor skills a lot because fine motor skills are used in other areas of development both academically and personally. Plus, fine motor skill practice is often fun and some of my kids favorite activities.

This activity will focus on using fine motor skills while also incorporating The Mixed Up Chameleon.
