Sometimes activities just need to be as simple as can be and today’s activity is the perfect example of that. Singing with your child is as simple as it gets and yet it can be so, so impactful and powerful for your child. USC’s brain creativity institute found that music with our preschooler accelerates brain development for language acquisition and reading skills. Plus, music helps the body and mind work together. I said many times in my teaching years that a healthy body leads to a healthy mind and music is the perfect glue to bring together a healthy body and mind.

We frequently use our Google Home to play toddler music in the house.

With this activity we are going to sing, dance, and engage entire body.
