The book From Head to Toe seems like the perfect opportunity to work on measurement.
We will be measuring our animals from the book using pom poms as our measurement tool.
Measuring using a ruler with inches or centimeters is too abstract of a concept for our preschoolers, but measuring with pom poms is concrete and right up a preschoolers alley.
