We are going to work on our sorting skills today while we learn about the different food groups.
This is an activity you can adjust to meet the needs of your Lil’ as, for many of them, the idea of food groups might be a foreign concept. By adjusting the number of food groups you are working on sorting at once, you are able to tailor the task to your Lil’s working level.

Teacher Tip

If your Lil’ is struggling to sort the food groups into two categories, try doing one category at a time to really focus on the individual food groups.
