Finger puppets are one of those things Rea didn’t know she needed in her life until she learned they existed. But in reality, they are a great tool for your Lil’ to use in dramatic play.
We used these as we sang Old McDonald, which is Rea’s new favorite song thanks to a friend of mine who sang it to her the other day…

Step #1
Print and cut out our Farm Animal Finger Puppets.
Step #2
Apply glue to the left side of the finger puppet, on the colored side of the paper.
Step #3
Wrap the finger puppet around your Lil’s finger bringing the right side around to the left so that they overlapped like you would put on a Band-Aid.
Step #4
Trim any excess paper.
Step #5

Repeat this process for all four finger puppets.

Teacher Tip

Encourage your Lil’ to play with the finger puppets. Use them to sing songs such as old MacDonald or using them as props in drammatic farm play.
