Some of the most important members of our community are our family which is so fitting for the month of November as we celebrate family and gratitude. So with that, we are going to be teaching our Lil’ Creators that f is for family!

Lil’ Creators Focus Skills


  • Can identify all lowercase letters and some sounds (f)


  • Uses writing materials to write (pencils, pens, crayons, markers)

Creative Skills

  • Use a variety of visual art materials (paint, markers, crayons, clay) with minimal adult assistance
  • Use visual arts to represent people, places, and things, with accuracy and detail

*Construction Paper





*White Paper

Step #1
Print and cut out the f is for family template.
We printed the f on orange construction paper and the circles on a cream colored paper.
Step #2
Glue the f to a piece of white paper.
Step #3
On each of the circles draw the face of a family member.
We colored 4 circles; one for me, one for my husband, one for Rea, and one for my son.
Step #4
Glue the “family members” to the f.
Step #5
Label the paper f is for family.
