One of my absolute favorite authors as a child and an adult is Eric Carle. He makes such beautiful and simplistic books about nature. Many of the books include math and science concepts that are so beautifully intertwined that you would never think of them as books that teach math. They are simply inspiring and few families with young children can say they don’t own an Eric Carle book.

Because of that, we have decided to do a month dedicated to Eric Carle and his iconic books!
