Lil’ Explorers Focus Skills
- Pose “what” and “why” questions about their surroundings
Fine Motor Skills
- Coordinate the use of hands, wrists, and fingers to complete tasks that require more precise movements
- Engage in activities that require hand-eye coordination with increasing accuracy
Print and cut out the Community Helpers Tools Puzzles.
Invite your Lil’ to look at the strips and identify the tool that community helper would use.
When they have identified the tool the community helper would use, they will place their clothes pin on that tool.
For instance, on the firefighter puzzle, your Lil’ will put the clothes pin on the fire extinguisher.
Using the clothespin is an opportunity to practice some fine motor skills in addition to learning about our community helpers.
