Early Learning 101 over on Instagram created a challenge to use pom poms for our preschoolers and I was inspired.
This activity is a fabulous way to work on shapes in a fun, tactile way. Your Lil’ will be learning through their senses with this activity which is always a major WIN!

Caterpillar Shapes Template

*Pom Poms

*Hot Glue Gun

Step #1
Print and cut out the Caterpillar Shapes Template.
Step #2
Use a hot glue gun to glue 4 pom poms together in a line.

This will be your caterpillar.

Step #3
Use your caterpillar to trace over each shape.

Teacher Tip

Rea needed our caterpillar to look more like the one in the book so we added pipe cleaners for antenna and googley eyes.
