Here we go again with patterns. They are oh so important in the world of math and I just love them.
You will likely notice that when you are working on patterns with your Lil’, they are really just matching the patterns we have provided them. That is okay. It is the first step to identifying patterns.
As they progress, they will be able to continue a pattern beyond what you have laid out.
The final step is for them to create their own patterns. This will take lots and lots of practice.
So for now, work with your Lil’ on whatever phase they are in.
