I will never ever ever stop loving patterns. They are the quintessential math skill and seeing my kiddos practice and improve their patterns skills makes this dorky STEM momma unbelievably happy.
This preschool activity will be focusing on identifying, completing, and filling in patterns.
- Create simple A-B-C or A-B-B repeating patterns
Print and cut out the Dinosaur Patterns Template.
There are three different versions of this template depending on your kid’s ability level.
- Copy the pattern
- Complete/continue the pattern
- Fill in the pattern
If you do not have toy dinosaurs or the toy dinosaurs you have a do not match the colors that are on the template you can use any of the other manipulatives that you might have at home like pom-poms or blocks.
Grab a copy of the dinosaur patterns printable on TPT.
