If you have an animal lover, like I do, they will really enjoy this activity. Rea even told me she was done painting so that she could do the animal art, which is what she calls all learning activities.
This activity will help your preschooler learn to read and spell their sight words. As a reminder, this is an editable template for our Pro Parents.

Lil’ Creators Focus Skills
- Recognize sight words (I, my, you, is, are, the, of, and, can, like)
- Can form all capital letters and some lower case letters
Fine Motor Skills
- Coordinate the use of hands, wrists, and fingers to complete tasks that require more precise movements
- Engage in activities that require hand-eye coordination with increasing accuracy
Print and cut out the Barn Sight Word Template.
Trace over the sight word on the barn.
Using the sight word written on the barn as a guide, glue the animals to the barn to spell the sight word.
This is one of those activities that would laminate really well and you can add velcro instead of glueing. That allows for you to reuse it over and over.
