This activity will help your Lil’ work on identifying their name and the individual letters in their name, plus our Lil’Creators will also work on their sight words for this month; like and can.

Barnyard Name Template - Lil' Explorers

Barnyard Name & Sight Words Template - Lil' Creators

*Scissors

*Sharpie

Step #1
Print and cut out our Barnyard Name (& Sight Word) Template.
Step #2
Write your Lil’s name on the barn using a sharpie.
Step #3
Write your Lil’s name on the animals using a sharpie.
Be sure to only put one letter on each animal.
Step #4
Using the name written on the barn as a guide, have your Lil’ identify each letter and put their farm animals in order  to spell their name.
Step #5

Use the same process for the sight words if you have a Lil’ Creator.

Teacher Tip

To make this more challenging, mix up the animal letters or have more letters than necessary available to pick from.
